There's nothing better to wind down after a hard week of teaching than a good social night out. You know, a bit of partying, a couple of drinks. Oh, and one of them big yellow school buses for transport!

To relieve a bit of pre-March Break tension, a trip had been organised to the Niagara Fallsview Casino for the night. I'm not sure that I should go into detail about it here, but let's just say that a good time was had by most and that some names have been withheld to protect the innocent. :-)

Donna (her real name) was doing well on the Blackjack table and had tripled her money at one point. Needless to say though, the house always wins... so her lucky streak was soon put to an end and she lost the lot.

There's more that could be said about the evening, but as they say, what happens on tour stays on tour... suffice to say that the evening confirmed my suspicion that teachers really are the same the world over. And that's scary!
